Work hard is important, but keep the goal in sight is a must. And in this process, you have to keep the commandments in order to obtain more light and knowledge to guide you.
Sometimes you are so wrapped up in so many opportunities that you get yourself confused.
It is not easy if you postpone the decisions you have to make until the last minute; because you will decide based on moment, pressure, emotion, and usually you decide wrong. Those decisions should be taken prior based on hypothesis during the planning of goals, so when the decisive moment comes you are prepared to take the next step.
We are living in a world of most B, C, D, and E companies; sadly is rare to find an A business or even A customers. Corruption is ferocious cancer, consuming everybody and everything from inside faster as it can, and it seems that nobody is paying attention to the dying patient. The world is in need of more and more A business, and A customers as well.
Life is too short to be wasted in foolish games or to be lived without purpose. Life is not a poker game or a Russian roulette where you are gambling. So, it is up to us to take the chance, and change the game being strong and bold. It is the perfect time to get up and do something.

The journey - Week 2

1) Why do you think Randy Pausch was able to achieve so many of his childhood dreams?

R: Because he learned that if we want something for real, we must break the wall to get in.

2) Do you feel that dreaming is important? Why or why not?

R: I think that dreaming is very important because it is the dream that moves us forward, moves us toward our goal, our future reality.

3) Discuss at least one of your childhood dreams. Explain why you believe you can or cannot achieve this dream.

R: To see and talk to God face to face. I always wanted to see Him and talk to Him…  And I believe that is possible to achieve this dream. It depends totally on me. Following the commandments and living a pure life prepares me for this moment. Sometimes I fail for sure, and I have knowledge of that, but through the atonement I am able to be qualified for this marvelous encounter someday.

What did I learn this week?

Well, this week I learned how important is to know better ourselves, in order to make the corrections in our path to achieve the goals. By the way, beginning with the end in mind make all the difference, because you can establish all the necessary steps to achieve it. And this is here where the dreams come to the story! It is essential having dreams to pursue, not only to dream about.
Moreover, a good dream is not a lonely one; it is necessary to have others involved. I think that’s why, as John Lennon said, “A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.”

Discipline, focus, research, commitment, and endurance are some of the needed elements to help us achieving our goals. We must experiment in life: try and try and try again, again, and again!

We must not to forget to seek the Lord’s guidance and counsel to our life, and take all our decisions according to Lord’s will. Assuming that God is our Father and wants all the best for us should make us willing to seek His counsels, follow His instructions, and obey His guidance.

The journey - Week 1

It is not easy to be a husband, father, and yet work to support the family and study to improve your knowledge.

For a young adult beginning his adult life is already harder to keep up the pace, so you can imagine for a mid-age man.

All this has been an adventure for a forty-nine years old man, sometimes peaceful as a spring sunny morning, other times crazy as the craziest rollercoaster.

But, in both cases, the emotional intensity is guaranteed.

Once I heard that a big journey begins with the first step. I say that the first step begins with the end of the journey in your heart and mind. One thing leads to the other and vice-versa: you need a goal to start and you need to start to reach the goal.

I never imagined myself studying business, especially in a foreign university and in another language.

My journey is just beginning this semester, a journey into the world of self-knowledge to discover the entrepreneur hero in me. It will be hard, it will be intense, it will demand a lot of effort and hard work, but it will be worth it.

Ok, so let's face the challenge and conquer it!
